He might not have looks, but at least he's got... wait, what DOES he have?

Clark: Anyone know where I can buy a winning personality?

Me: I'll sell you mine.

I'm Posting So Jonathan Stops Complaining

Really, I am. No actually, I'd like to tell you about my fabulous weekend.

In case no one noticed, I was not around this weekend. (Serg, sorry for not answering your text, but I was having too much fun :P) Now you may ask what is more fun than hanging out with all the other interns and whatever else it was that you guys were doing this weekend. Well the answer is camping!

So the type of camping I went on may not count as camping to all people. It's more of, we pitched tents on my friend's dad's dock/deck on a small dirt island along the Delta up near Stockton. And his dad owns a boat and two jetskiis, which means LOTS of fun water activities!

It was an extreme work out for my arm muscles, but I got to jetski, inner tube, wakeboard (or rather attempt to wakeboard), kneeboard, fishing, and a tad bit of swimming in the icky delta. Ok so the last two didn't really work out my arm muscles, but the other stuff did. I gotta tell you, I have been sore for days... but it was so worth it.

I think we need to make friends with someone who has a boat and is willing to take us out to do fun stuff.

Friday

*Disclaimer: bad grammar lies ahead*

The evening began wonderfully. Colleen and I won 2 games of beer pong in a row. We felt unstoppable. Then it took us 4 tries to high-five. The next game didn't go so well. We lost to Wisconsin, who then lost to Ohio State. We were rooting for Wisc. that time.

Hail to the victors was louder than any other cheer that night. I'm surprised the police weren't called.

Later on, Clark was trying to prove that he had more spirit than me, but i pointed out that i had painted arms while he did not. Then he pulled two bottles of paint out of nowhere and squirted them on his arm (red and brown) mixing them and making maroon.

I also met Ted, my former enemy. I decided i should stop making enemies with people based on what they reply to the mailers, because if they work at cisco chances are they're pretty cool.

Even later, rum spilled on me. literally. there was talk of setting me on fire but luckily that didn't happen because it probably would have resulted in a trip to the hospital, where i would have then been cited with an MIP.

The night ended with a ride home in the back-back, at night, on the highway. It was kind of frightening, especially because i had no clue where we were 90% of the time.

Shopping

We were walking around the mall trying to find everyone else and, as usual, Kevin disappeared. So I was hanging around with Amy and Colleen (among others) waiting for Kevin to come back. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I asked if they had any idea where he could have gone. Colleen probably remembers the look on my face when she said "yeah, he went down to Express Men with Breneman," just before I sprinted to the stairs. I still have no idea what the hell we were waiting for up there.

In the time it took me to try on jeans at Express, the rest of the group
  • browsed the Apple Store
  • watched Estelle buy a MacBook Pro
  • walked at least one lap around the mall
My thanks to Tatyana and Kevin for hanging around the fitting rooms to tell me which pants made my ass look big.
